Hermes
Barreto, III (Production
Designer) is one of the most beloved members of the
fan film community. Hermes has contributed to such
films as Duality, and starred in 'Brains and Steel'
with Clay Kronke. A huge Star Wars fan (and a new dad!), Hermes' contributions to HFTH are
incalculable and can be seen in every frame of the
film, from the costumes to the Holocron itself. |

Stephanie
Battistone (Second Assistant
Director) was one of the last members to join the
Fellowship in December 2003, but has since proved
herself an invaluable asset to the film. From storyboarding
to sandwich-making, Steph's belief in and motivation
of this film and its crew has been nothing short of
extraordinary. She is currently attending Temple University where she is pursuing a degree in Film and Media Arts. |

Mathew
Calland (Story Supervisor/Writer)
is a computer-programmer by day and fantasy author
by night. Currently he is writing the prequel to his
first novel, a sprawling fantasy epic he wrote while
still in high school. Mat's gifts as an author and
editor have not only greatly enhanced the story of
HFTH, they infused it with new meaning and purpose
while staying true to the original spirit of the project. |

Dan
Clavey (Sahn Jinkuru) is an
incredibly talented and versatile actor, able to emote
both humor and humanity in the most demanding of scenes.
Dan caught the acting bug in high school productions,
and he loved it so much that he now pursues a degree
in theater at California University of Pennsylvania.
Dan's commitment to the film and to his character
have been a bedrock of the film. |

Luke
Clavey (Art Director/Camera)
is a multi-talented artist currently studying Animation/Film
at Edinboro University in northern Pennsylvania. Among

Jenn
Platts (Ariah Duen) is an amazingly
gifted actress. Jenn says of her character, "Ariah
is a woman who knows what she wants, and goes and
gets it. When I put on the costume, it isn't hard
to feel like it's my way or the highway. I understand
where she's coming from. She's very fun to be."
Jenn is currently studying interior design at Indiana
University of Pennsylvania. |

Adam Rainis (Composer) graduated from the Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville with a degree in Theory/Composition. Inspired by the epic scores of James Newton Howard and Howard Shore, Adam decided he wanted a life in music, scoring for feature films. A passionate and sensitive musician, Adam generously agreed to lend his skills and talents to crafting a powerful, unique score for HFTH. |
 |
Scott
Sierzega (Oci Kent) is an energetic
and talented actor whose years of experience in the
theater has made him an intensely kinetic performer.
Scott literally threw himself into the role. In one
scene, Oci was to appear grimy and bloody after being
pursued by an enemy. Scott literally threw himself
into mud and wiped his face until he was satisfied
that he looked sufficiently bedraggled! |
 |
Jeffrey
Smith (Cinematographer) has
a degree in film from Full Sail in Orlando, FL. He
is also the only member of the Fellowship who is listed
on the IMdB, and has worked on professional productions
for the past two years in his hometown of Houston,
TX, where he attends school. Jeffrey's skill with
lighting has given HFTH it's unique look, and his
dogged support of the film has proved invaluable. |
 |
Mark
Spitznagel (Bando Jinkuru/Casting
Director) is an extraordinarily gifted actor whose
wit and enthusiasm have fueled HFTH from the beginning.
Mark plays two roles in the film, rising to the extremely
physical and emotional demands of the roles with strength
and humor. Mark is a student at Point Park University,
and was recently honored by his school with the Rising
Star Award for his talents. |
 |
Martin
Spitznagel (Writer/Director)
is proud to finally see his "little Star Wars
movie"coming to fruition. In addition to writing
and directing the film, Martin also portrays "Lord
Dregr Jarrat," finding the irony of being his
own film's antagonist too good to pass up. Martin
is a celebrated ragtime pianist and composer, a student
at the University of Pittsburgh, and a freelance writer/filmmaker. |
 |
Dave
Turka (E'Din Kyle/Fight Choreographer)
says his greatest joy on HFTH was "working on
last-minute problems that would creep up and trying
to solve them
quickly and creatively." Truly, Dave showed a
Jedi's poise in fielding the incalculable challenges
he faced in bringing E'Din Kyle to life. From an unwieldy
wardrobe to emotional scenes, Dave rose to and defeated
every challenge. |
 |
Margaret
Yang (First Assistant Director)
got involved with 'Hunt for the Holocron' to "enhance
my knowledge of film and simply gain knowledge as
a film student." What she got was a three-year
tour of duty that challenged every one of her skill
sets. From storyboarding to directing to getting people
out of bed in the morning, Margaret's tireless resilience
has enabled HFTH to become a reality. |
